While Advent is a season of hope and Christmas is a season of joy, not everyone feels like celebrating. This retreat seeks to provide a space to come together to acknowledge the pain and grief in the world, while trusting in God's light and love for such a time as this.
Sessions, worship, and space for rest and reflection.
This overnight retreat will include 3 sessions led by a facilitator to be announced in the upcoming months. The sessions will focus on grief, wonder, and hope. A Chaplain will be available on site for anyone needing to step away from the group and receive additional support. The retreat will also include worship, such as a longest night service, creative space for reflective art, and down time for rest.
